Public Hearing Scheduled on Periodic Reports in Non-Small Business Cases
Sharon Edmondson, Washington Legislative Team Member | December 09, 2015
The Executive Office for United States Trustees (EOUST) will hold a public hearing on February 17, 2016, in Washington, DC.
This will allow for interested parties to express their views on proposed rules and forms for completing uniform periodic reports in non-small business cases filed under Chapter 11. These Periodic Reports are to be used by all Chapter 11 debtors who do not qualify as a “small business debtor” as defined in Bankruptcy Code Section 101 (51D).
The EOUST has also reopened the comment period for the proposed rule, and new supplemental comments will be accepted until February 22, 2016.
