Senator Hatch Pledges to Introduce Puerto Rico Fix

Senator Hatch (R-UT) is committed to introducing another bill to help solve Puerto Rico’s fiscal crisis and resolving the situation before the end of March.
Senator Hatch, with Senators Grassley and Murkowski, introduced legislation last year regarding the financial crisis in Puerto Rico. Senator Hatch also sent a letter to the Puerto Rican government (which is attached) requesting more information on the financial situation, including its fiscal 2014 financial report and updated information on pension obligations and the nature of the technical assistance the island has received from the Treasury Department.
