Beverly represents clients in: Bankruptcy and Reorganization Proceedings; State and Federal Receiverships; Workouts and Loan Restructurings; Forbearance Agreements; Enforcement Actions and Liquidations; Asset Acquisitions; Agricultural Lending and Agribusiness Issues; Negotiable Instrument Issues, Letters of Credit; Supply Agreements Terms, Contract Analysis; Marcellus and Energy; Mechanics Liens and Municipal Insolvency.
Prior to joining the firm, Beverly was Assistant Counsel at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of General Counsel, Regions I, II and III representing its agencies in all aspects of business, industrial, agricultural, housing (504), multi-family housing and agricultural loans made and guaranteed by the Farmers Home Administration and Commodity Credit Corporation, as well as the Food and Nutrition Service, and Federal Crop Insurance Corporation.
Beverly was an Adjunct Professor, University of Pittsburgh School of Law, teaching Payment Systems (2002-present) and Secured Transactions (1998, 2004 – 2009). Beverly also served on the Tucker Arensberg Board of Directors from 1988- 2014.
Ms. Manne is the co-chair of the Insolvency and Creditors’ Rights Department of the law firm of Tucker Arensberg, P.C. Her practice includes creditors’ rights, commercial loan originations, restructuring and liquidations, complex bankruptcies and reorganizations, commercial lending/leasing workouts and state and federal receiverships.
From 1981 to 1986, Ms. Manne was an attorney with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of General Counsel.
Ms. Manne obtained her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and her B.A., magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Pitt.

Ms. Manne is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Business Law Section Council, its 2013 Insolvency Law Task Force, Assistant Co-Chair of the PBA Shale Energy Law Committee, and served as a member of the PBA Insolvency Law Task Force (1994-1996), the UCC Article 9 Revisions Task Forces responsible for the adoption of Revised Article 9 in Pennsylvania in 2001 and the revisions in 2011, and the UVTA Revisions Task Force.
Ms. Manne has been a columnist and author for the Journal of Corporate Renewal including the 2011-2012 “The Judge’s Speak” Series, “Courts Weigh In on In Pari Delicto” (2010) and “Restructuring Options: The Forbearance Agreement” (2008). Ms. Manne authored Chapter 2 in the treatise, “Nonbankruptcy Options: Assignments, Compositions and Receiverships” of Chapter 11 Theory and Practice, LRP Publications, Horsham, Pennsylvania.
She lectures frequently on bankruptcy, banking, mechanics liens, oil and gas bankruptcy, and commercial issues, including at the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges in San Francisco and in Chicago, Illinois, and many of the U.S. Court of Appeals Third Circuit Judicial Conferences including the 2014 Third Circuit Conference bankruptcy program on Municipal Insolvency and the PBA Bankruptcy Institute, and the PBI Oil and Gas Colloquium in 2015.
Ms. Manne was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights Category for 2005 through the present, and was selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America–2007 through present in the Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Law category.
