Ivan J. Reich Sworn in as President of the CLLA
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — May 15, 2012 — Shareholder Ivan J. Reich, of the Fort Lauderdale office of GrayRobinson, P.A., was sworn in as president of the Commercial Law League of America (CLLA) on Saturday, May 5 at the 82nd Annual CLLA Chicago/Spring Meeting.
Founded in 1895, the CLLA is the nation’s oldest organization of attorneys, collection agencies, judges, accountants, trustees, turnaround managers and other credit and finance experts working in the commercial law, bankruptcy and insolvency field.

Reich concentrates his practice in the area of Bankruptcy and Corporate Reorganizations, with a strong emphasis and background in Commercial Litigation. His commercial litigation background includes not only bankruptcy issues, but areas of the law including banking, lender liability, commercial landlord-tenant, securities, intellectual property, anti-trust, real estate, asset protection, post and prejudgment remedies and collections, foreclosures, and both state and federal appeals. He has been among Florida’s Super Lawyers from 2008 to 2011 and Florida Trend’s Legal Elite in 2010.
As a member of CLLA since 1991, Reich has served as an attorney board member and southern region chair. He has also served on its board of governors and is the immediate past chair of its Young Members Section and past chair elect of its Bankruptcy section.
Reich is also a member of The Florida Bar, Dade County Bar, Broward County Bar, American Bar Asociation and the American Bankruptcy Institute. In addition, he serves as adjunct professor of Bankruptcy Law at Nova Southeastern University Law School and adjunct professor of Business Law at Broward Community College.
In addition to his professional achievements, Reich is an active member of the community and has served multiple tenures with the Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce. He has also held memberships with the Broward Alliance’s board of directors and the Broward County Democratic executive committee.
He earned both his juris doctorate and undergradaute degrees from Vanderbilt University.
