Saturday began with Gil Singer of Marcadis Singer, PA & Southern Region Chair awarding the Essay Competition winner Kaitlyn H. Ford. Congratulations Kaitlyn!
EDUCATION included presentations on Modern Defamation Law by Ken Turkel, TBC Law, Tampa, FL; Legal Issues Facing The Premium Cigar Industry by Theodore J. Hamilton, Wetherington Hamilton, P.A., Tampa, FL; and The Four W’s Of Sub-V Small Business Reorganizations (Who, What, When, Winners!) by Hon. Catherine Peek McEwen, US Bankruptcy Court, Middle District of Florida, Tampa, FL.
Saturday afternoon allowed attendees some time to visit The La Faraona Cigar Lounge, the finest cigar lounge in Ybor City, and Ybor City itself, known for boutiques, vintage shops, museums, and art galleries.
The conference ended with dinner in the Hotel Haya Presidential Suite overlooking the Sant’ Yago Illuminated Knight Parade.
