New Members’ Section

 

The New Members’ Section (NMS) is mandated to enable new members to become familiar with the objectives of the League; namely, to

  • promote uniformity of legislation in matters affecting commercial law;
  • elevate the standards and improve the practice of commercial law;
  • encourage an honorable course of dealing among its members and in the profession at large;
  • foster among its members a feeling of fraternity and mutual confidence.

The NMS will promote and foster a spirit of cooperation, education and assistance among and between The New Members of the League and other members, and allow The New Members a voice within the League,

NMS eligibility includes any member in good standing of the League who has not been a member of the League for more than three (3) calendar years from the date of joining the League is eligible to become a New Member.

The NMS has an Executive Council and the NMS Chair automatically matriculates to the CLLA Board of Governors upon the expiration of their term as Chair.

Association Of Law List Publishers

The Association of Law List Publishers (ALLP), established in 1935, is an organization of the publishers of reference directories which contain names of lawyers handling commercial and consumer debt recovery, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights law matters. The members of the Association continually work to promote the Commercial Law League of America, the triadic system and to enhance the creditors’ rights practices of their listees.
