There is tension in every business transaction, and in every contract between parties. Every contract comes with a Hohfeldian quartet of right, duty, privilege, and liability. A Receiving Attorney who obtains a claim from a Forwarder, acknowledges receipt and accepts, becomes the third or fourth (if the claim is bonded) contracting party.
