In alignment with the esteemed Constitution of the Commercial Law League of America, a remarkable opportunity awaits our valued members. Upon reaching the distinguished age of 75 and transitioning into retirement from full-time practice, a member who has dedicated 25 years to the League can request to become a life member. This honor not only acknowledges a lifetime of commitment and service but also ensures that the wisdom and experience of seasoned professionals continue to enrich our community. A written request is all it takes to celebrate your legacy and remain an integral part of the League’s vibrant future.
REQUIREMENTS
- Reached the age of 75
- Retired from full-time practice
- Held a CLLA Membership for 25 years
Life members shall be exempt from payment of any further dues. Board of Governors approval is required.

Practice Sections
The Commercial Law League Practice Sections address the specialized needs of their respective constituencies. Each section elects its own officers and executive council. Every section also has a representative on the CLLA Board of Governors.

Association Of Law List Publishers
The Association of Law List Publishers (ALLP), established in 1935, is an organization of the publishers of reference directories which contain names of lawyers handling commercial and consumer debt recovery, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights law matters. The members of the Association continually work to promote the Commercial Law League of America, the triadic system and to enhance the creditors’ rights practices of their listees.
